The Discovery Program allows you to experience our Arizona 55+ resort communities with a 5 Day/4 Night Stay & Play package. For just $199 per night, you can immerse yourself in the lifestyle, amenities, and activities before deciding if our community is right for you.
2. What does the Try Before You Buy package include?
The package includes:
- 5 days and 4 nights in a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom fully furnished air-conditioned resort-style home for two 55+ adults.
- Fully furnished kitchen & free wifi
- A golf cart is provided so you can explore the resort.
- Porch to enjoy the Arizona sunrises & sunsets.
- Full access over 150 amenities, such as pickleball, swimming pools, tennis courts, live music, and more.
- Covered parking.
- A tour of the community and park model homes for sale.
- A chance to experience the vibrant 55+ active adult lifestyle firsthand.
- Kurig w/ coffee & tea. Clean linens and hairdryer.
- Your booking fee is waived if you purchase a new home at the resort.

4. Is the Discovery Program available outside of Arizona?
No, the Discovery Program is currently only available in our Arizona resorts. However, our communities in Arizona offer a unique blend of year-round sunshine, amenities, and active adult living.

Yes, one guest is welcome! Our Stay & Play package is designed for you to share the experience with a partner, friend, or family member.
9. What should I bring for my stay?
For your Cal-Am Discovery stay, all you need to bring is a sense of adventure and excitement! However, to make sure you’re fully prepared for the fun, we recommend packing the essentials:
- Comfortable clothing and swimwear to enjoy our pools and fitness activities.
- Walking shoes for exploring the community and taking tours
- Any personal items you’d normally bring on a relaxing getaway, like toiletries and sunscreen.
- Your questions! Our team is here to help, so feel free to bring a list of things you’d like to know more about regarding our homes and lifestyle.
